Featured Collaborator - Matt Dent

Matt DentFreelance illustrator currently working in London. He likes too many things to list, shares
a studio with his big brother and loves what he does!

Live Now: How did you hear about Live Now?

I came across Live Now through another collaboration I spotted on the net. This led me to Eric's personal site which explained the idea behind the project. From this point I was really keen to contact Eric and let him know I'm down to collaborate! A great part of Live Now was Eric's enthusiasm for the project, not only have I got to work with Eric, we are now really great
buddy's.

Live Now: Briefly describe the message and process behind our collaboration piece?

"Our Peaceful Thoughts of the Future, Determine Our Present"

The piece encourages you to think about the good things that your future can hold, in turn these thoughts can then generate a sense of positivity and happiness for you now (in the present).
I think its important to think about what is possible for you in life. I have always believed that if
you think positive and aim high only good things can come of it, so the quote suited me well
I think! From this point I got working on a few ideas before coming up with the final one.
I wanted to focus the image on the 'thoughts' we have, as this would compliment the power
of the words.

Live Now: What inspires your happiness?

There are a few things that inspire my happiness. I think seeing my family, friends and having
my girlfriend with me is always important, this allows me to just relax and be myself. I also see sport as a really big part of my life, it allows me to clear my head and just focus on one thing, taking away the stress of work or looming deadlines. Lastly, if I feel confident and happy with
my work, then this can put me in a good/ happy mood.
